Pool View is a part of an 18th/19th century mill set in the village of Tredington, Warwickshire and is in a conservation area. There is a parking area for one car and the owners' garden at the rear of the house may be used by guests. We aim to meet the needs of all of our guests, however, due to the nature of the property this can make access for guests with limited mobility difficult and the house is unsuitable for wheelchair users.
Pool View is located on Mill Lane with three semi-circular steps to the front entrance. These are 5", 7", and 7" in height with a lip of 1" at the top. To reach the front door, you turn left and climb a flight of 13 stairs, which has risers 7 1/2" high and is 34" wide. At the top of the stairs is a quarter landing and the front door is to your left is 29" wide with a 2 steps up to reach it.
The front door opens into the living room. There is a separate toilet opening off the living room.
The living room has a carpeted floor. There are two sofas and a 26" TV, DVD player, DAB radio, and iPod docking station. There are curtains and venetian blinds on the windows.
There is one carpeted stairway up to the first floor. It starts with 3 steps, with 8" tread and a 35 1/2" width leading to a quarter landing 34" x 36". A further flight of 11 steps, with 7 1/2" treads 32 1/2" wide, leads up to the first floor.
A 28 3/4" door leads into the kitchen/dining area has a pine table with four chairs. There are roman blinds to the windows.
In the kitchen there is a sink, a fridge/freezer, a cooker with electric oven and gas hob, full size dishwasher, and a washing machine / tumble dryer. The worktop, sink and hob are 90cm high. There is enough crockery, cutlery and glasses for 4 guests. Tea towels, oven gloves, and cleaning products are provided.
Bedroom 1 is carpeted and has two standard 3” beds, which can be joined together to form a king-sized double bed, dressing table and stool, wardrobe, bedside lamps and vanity and long mirrors. The bedroom has roman blinds.
The bathroom has a bath with electric shower over, lavatory, hand basin, with mirror and light with shaver socket, and a towel rail. There is a cupboard on the first floor containing a washing machine and tumble drier stacked vertically.
Bedroom 2 has a standard double bed. There are bedside lights, vanity and long mirrors, wardrobe, chest of drawers, and a bedroom chair. The bedroom has wooden shutters. The floor has bare boards with rugs. The window has a curtain and venetian blinds.
All bedrooms have feather-free duvets and pillows.
We would request any prospective guest who is planning to visit the cottage to make us aware of any mobility issues at the time of the enquiry so we may be sure to correctly advise them in order to avoid any disappointment.
Guests are welcome to make use of our garden if they wish to do so.
