DIRECTIONS TO PUDDLE COTTAGE & POOL VIEW

Access is easy from the M40 at Warwick. There are nearby rail stations: both Stratford-upon-Avon (for Birmingham) and Moreton-in-Marsh (for London) are only eight miles away. Tredington is on a local bus route.

FROM THE M40 NORTH:

Leave the M40 at junction 15 (Warwick) and take the A429, headed towards Stow-on-the-Wold. After approximately 12 miles you will reach the village of Halford. Continue through Halford and when you reach the next roundabout, with a Subaru dealership, take the first left and head into Tredington. Within the village, take the third turn on the left and continue down towards the village church. At the church turn right down a no-through road, take a sharp left followed by a sharp right. Straight ahead you will see an archway. Drive through the archway and park there, our door-bell is half-way down the archway, marked ‘The Mill’. (Not ‘The Mill House’ – our next door neighbour.)

FROM THE M40 SOUTH

Leave the M40 at junction 8 and head towards Oxford. Go round the Oxford ring road, heading for Cheltenham on the A40. This can be very busy at peak rush hour times. Once on the ring road, go straight over the first roundabout and at the next take the right-hand exit, heading towards the A34 north. At the next roundabout, do not take the A34 exit but go under the A34 and take the next exit. Go left at the next roundabout and continue towards Woodstock on the A44, signed for Evesham.

Go through Woodstock continuing on the A44 and approximately 10 miles later you will reach some traffic lights outside Chipping Norton. Do not take the left hand turn into Chipping Norton but go straight ahead, joining the A3400 headed for Stratford-upon-Avon. Go over the next roundabout and continue on the A3400 to Shipston-on-Stour. When you get to Shipston, you will meet a roundabout with buildings in the centre. You need to follow the signs for Stratford-upon-Avon (the road takes a sharp right then left turn) and continue towards Tredington.

In Tredington, take the first right after the 30 mph speed limit sign and continue down towards the village church. At the church turn right down a no-through road, take a sharp left followed by a sharp right. Straight ahead you will see an archway. Drive through the archway and park there. You will find our door-bell half-way down the archway, marked ‘The Mill’. (Not ‘The Mill House’ – our next door neighbour.)
